Situated about two kilometers south of Giza, Zawiyet el-Aryan is the home of two Old Kingdom pyramids. Although the pyramid of Nebka appears more distinct in the satellite image, it is not much more than a large trench like that of the pyramid of Djedefre at Abu Roash. A short distance south is the step pyramid of Khaba, the remains of which are still about 16 meters high.
