It’s a bit like the Blair witch Project, but not as scary, – can’t say I learnt anything, except that there is a cave, and it is dark down there.
Yes, it is sensational isn’t it.

This could be any cave anywhere. Two backlit shots of a tomb door
do not mean the shots of the cave are in Egypt.
Have you seen his web site? New Age seeker, trying to pump up book
sales to fools.
This announcement by Collins seems to have ruffled quite a few feathers.
I’m no advocate of Collins’ interpretation of these caves, I’ve not read his book. But I have no reason to doubt that he has entered the caves underneath Giza that Salt described in his journals.
Perhaps the fact that Collins has intentionally avoided giving the exact location of the entrance bothers people. Sure his video doesn’t add much in the way of proof of the location and he could have had better lighting but I think it is obvious this video is mean as a ‘teaser’ to garner interest for his up coming book and he doesn’t want to give too much away before the book’s release.
Is this really all that different to the sensationalism employed by Dr Zahi Hawass in his public announcements, such as those concerning the shafts in the Great Pyramid?
Good point, it is a shame that the archaeology in Egypt is so political, and accompanied by such hype, not to mention ‘new age’ overtones. I would rather see plans and sections first, – quality information, then a video & some vaguely sensational claims. The sands of Egypt, and the secrets that lie under them, have become very muddied waters!
