Shock Discovery Underneath Sphinx!
NEWS FLASH!
News report just in from BBC. Massive statues unearthed in Sphinx excavation.
In more serious Sphinx-related news, Channel Five will be showing a documentary on Thursday at 8pm called “The Secrets of Egypt” in which geologist Colin Reader discusses the controversy over the age of the Sphinx. Like Schwaller de Lubicz, John Anthony West and fellow geologist Robert Schoch, Reader is of the opinion that evidence of water erosion on the body of the Sphinx suggests the monument is older than traditionally accepted.
In addition to questioning it’s age, Reader agrees with others that the disproportionate size of the head might indicate that the naturally occurring outcrop of rock may have originally been carved to represent the head of a lion rather than that of a king.
