Photo of the Week: Pyramid of Vincent
This week I thought I’d post something a bit different.
It’s a pyramid I made with my friend Simon about 12 years ago. We both made one each from a block of limestone using just a hacksaw and a piece of sand paper. It is a 1:1000 scale model of Khufu’s pyramid.
I intentionally made mine without a pointy top to mimic the pyramid of Khufu . A year later whilst in Cairo I found the perfect capstone: a small pyramid-shaped piece of lapis lazuli.
Simon placed his on top of a sculpture he had made and ‘planted’ it in his garden.
