Indian River County library to present program on Egypt

Milt Thomas will present a program on “Ancient Egypt” at the North Indian River County Library in Sebastian from 2 to 3 p.m. Feb. 11. His audiovisual presentation will discuss how the pyramids were built; how the scales of justice, which originated in ancient Egypt, were used in that land; who King Tut was and why we care so much about him; and what Egyptians really think of us today.

Thomas is a member of the National Press Club and appears in “Who’s Who in America.” He travels to the Middle East and Africa every year.

Admission is free. The library is located at 1001 Sebastian Blvd., three miles west of U.S. 1 in Sebastian.
