box.
Empty hole 1, place a new block on top, lift and remove the first block and recycle the water from pit 2 into pit 1 to lift block 2.
All you need is a simple construction to get the water to the top of the pyramid.
I am sure

The cherubs, some kind of priest, angels, gods, at least statues, max. 4 of them guarding a coffin with their arms spread wide.
But don't stick to these two much.
Remember your physic classes in school and think of a box, 2 yards high, one yard in the other directions. Dig it in a hole of The same size and put our block of some 900 kg on top.
Now fill the hole with water.
The block will be lifted to the next level with the next

Hi Robbin,

That's a new one, I've not heard of the "cherub" theory.

How many cherubs were required for the construction of Khufu's pyramid do you think?

Ramps, ropes, heat, assembly-belt-like - bullshit!
Cranes, Lifts, ETs - bullshit!

It is hot there, extremely hot and no Egyptian would be that crazy to use his 100lbs of weight to pull heavy rocks up a single ramp under these conditions, with this level of security, for 30 years.

I say, it was easier, much easier. Just look at the cherubs, how they "handle" a coffin. This is the heaviest work they did when building the great pyramid.

I have a much better idea, how this was done with all the technology they had then and still have today.

Just forget about the ramps and any higher spirits, they were just men.

Everybody else has seen too much of Hercules, who wasn't Egyptian ;)

I read Houdin's book and watched the 3D presentation. Nowhere it was mentioned in details that exactly how the descending steps hanging on the slopes of GP (For workers to get down) were constructed and dismantled later. An animation would be appreciated.

The smaller pyramids, not just those at Giza, are all in various states of destruction because the arabs have plundered and destroyed them over the centuries, searching for loot or to use the stones for building.
The beautiful outer casing of the Giza pyramids withstood the
sands of time, but again, were removed by present day arabs
and used in the building of Cairo.
Z Hawass all the time calls for the return of things from foreign
museums. Let him first put his own house in order and return
what can be saved of the outer casing. The beautiful things in foreign museums have been saved for eternity, while that taken by Egyptians have been destroyed or melted down and lost forever.
