Dahshur as seen from Saqqara

This week’s photo is from the Lantern Slide Collection in the Brooklyn Museum Archives. It shows the view of the Pyramids of Dahshur as seen from Saqqara.

On the left the ‘Black’ pyramid of Amenemhat III can be seen, while Sneferu’s ‘Bent’ pyramid is in the middle and Sneferu’s ‘Red’ pyramid is pictured on the right.
