Talking Pyramids: Ancient Egyptian Pyramids

Bennu may have stopped tweeting in hieroglyphs for the year but Susan is still going with Office Hieroglyphs: imakhy, or in Manuel de Codage, imAxi, “revered one”.

There are a few more photos, this time one of the Book of the Dead of Hunefer, more hieroglyphs from a magical papyrus, another photograph from the temple of Medinet Habu and a peice on Sandro Vannini’s Photo Collection of Egyptian Culture, Antiquities and Historic Sites.

The Rosetta Stone saga continues with Hawass explaining to the BBC in frustration: “We are not the pirates of the Caribbean. We are a civilised country.”
