Talking Pyramids

Zahi meets with Berlin Museum director Dr. Friederike Seyfried to discuss the legality of the removal of the Nefertiti’s bust from Egypt. Hawass was presented with all of the key documents and is now even more convinced that that Borchardt did act unethically, with intent to deceive and that the bust left Egypt illegally.

Some photos today include an aerial shot of the Giza plateau, taken form the International Space Station, another update on the Cleopatra & Caesarion by Leena, and an authentic Ancient Egyptian magic wand made from the the tusk of a hippopotamus.
