Ancient Egypt News for Sunday 10-01-10
The year begins anew and we enter another decade. I’ve been away for the holidays and so to catch up, today’s update is actually covering the past ten days.
The new year started off with a major new discovery: the largest tomb ever discovered at Saqqara! New discoveries seem to be a regular occurrence at Saqqara with this new find following last year’s announcement of the discovery of a ‘Storeroom of Mummies’ and the excavation of the pyramid of Sesheshet in which her body was found, not to mention the many discoveries at Saqqara the year before.
